As a result of Collective Bargaining, effective January 1, 2013, the Motion Picture Industry (MPI) Active Health Plan will require Participants with eligible dependents to pay a premium to maintain their dependents’ coverage (medical, dental, vision, prescription drugs, and behavioral health benefits). This change will affect how Participants and dependents manage their healthcare. Click here to read the Premium Introduction Letter and Fast Facts About Dual Coverage for more information on Premium payments and special rules that apply.

The first Premium Statements will be mailed December 1, 2012 for Participants with Eligibility Periods that begin (or include) January 1, 2013. Click here to view a sample of the new Statement of Hours/Premium Notice that Participants will receive 30 days before their premiums are due, and click here to view a Fast Facts Summary explaining how the premiums operarate.
